ORTIS: an important player in the organic arena

ORTIS shares the concerns of consumers seeking products that are more genuine, healthier and more environmentally friendly. This is why we decided to review the composition of all of our products in order to add organic certification to our already very strict quality standards. In time, the majority of ORTIS’ products will have organic certification. Quality, our first and main demand.
Since its creation in 1958, ORTIS has focused on the long term.  Over the last twenty years in particular, our laboratory and all our teams have been working to create a product environment that guarantees impeccable quality: with regard to selecting ingredient suppliers, researching and developing formulations, implementing production procedures and choosing distributors.
In line with this very demanding approach, ORTIS has continuously progressed. We implemented the HACCP system in 1990. ORTIS was also the first food supplement manufacturer to have its internal quality control system approved by the AFSCA (18 November 2009). Around the same time, starting in 2008, ORTIS decided to gradually adjust all its formulations to bring them in line with organic farming specifications.
