In this respect, Ortis makes no compromises. The laboratory has always been committed to purchasing the best plants from the leading suppliers, even if these suppliers happen to be on the other side of the world.

Although protection of the environment has always been one of ORTIS’ core values, we initially did not follow the general trend towards organic products since the raw materials available at the time did not meet our demanding quality requirements (in particular, microbiological aspects).

Another problem was the impossibility of ensuring a consistent supply of certified organic raw materials.

Over time, the economic operators in the plant industry have realised that organic production is an irreversible trend. In response to growing demand, they too have sought out certified sources of supply. Thanks to this increase in available ingredients and the security of supplies, organic production has now become compatible with ORTIS’ requirements.

We have even gone a step further: to protect ORTIS tablets from oxidation and humidity, we have developed the first organically certified protective film coating.
